Bowling Hits a Snag Against Raiders
The Jesuit bowling team suffered its first district loss, 24-3, to Rummel on Monday, Feb. 2 at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner. Both teams now stand at 2-1 in district play.
They Blue Jays posted lower than normal scores and fell behind in the first game. After losing the second game, the point spread was insurmountable. In the final game, coach John Prejean said, “We scraped two more points to finish 24-3.”
Senior Chris Ainsworth finished with a 630 series. His games were 208, 198, and 224.
Jesuit’s next match is against Shaw (2-2) on Thursday, Feb. 5. The Jays will meet the Raiders again on Feb. 23.
