Spring Golf Season Opens with Victory over Newman

Junior Grant Glorioso shot a 34 on Monday, March 16, to help his Blue Jays nail Newman at Lakewood Golf Club.
The Jesuit golf team opened the spring season with a convincing 148-170 win over Isidore Newman. The match was played on Monday March 16, at Lakewood Golf Club.
Junior Grant Glorioso recorded the lowest round of the day, a 34. Freshman J.T. Holmes posted an impressive 36, while sophomore Sean Donovan shot 38. Rounding out the scoring for the Jays was junior Carlo Carino and sophomore Nolan Lambert. Both finished with 40s. Only the four best scores are counted in the team total.
The Blue Jays, who are coached by Owen Seiler ’75 and Sean Hillis, face Country Day on Tuesday, March 17, at English Turn.
