Chemistry AP

Congratulations to those who took the 2008 Chemistry AP Exam!

90 % of the 14 students who took the 2008 exam qualified (an AP grade of 3 or higher) for college chemistry credit and/or advanced placement.  Two students made 5's and six made 4's.  Our average score was 3.50 while the national average (see below) was 2.79.

SAT II in Chemistry

We had 16 students taking the 2007 SAT II Test in Chemistry.  Our mean was 635 on this year's test.  Although we did not do as well as we usually do, our mean was still higher than the national average of 610.  It is important to realize that nationally only students who feel that they can score well actually register to take this test.
