Tennis Team Blanks Rummel, Improves to 5-0

Sophomore Christian Lacoste picked up an 8-1 win on Line 2 singles in Jesuit’s 7-0 dual meet win over Rummel on Thursday, March 17.
Senior Andrew Westholz notched 8-2 victories in both Line 1 singles and doubles to lead the Jesuit tennis team to a 7-0 win over Rummel on Thursday, March 17 at the UNO Tennis Center.
Also picking up wins in singles play were sophomore Christian Lacoste at Line 2 (8-1), freshman Colin Meyer at Line 3 (8-0), and freshman David Nimmo at Line 4 (8-0).
In doubles, Westholz teamed with freshman Dexter Webster for the win at Line One. At Line 2, freshmen Evan Wicker and William Bostick scored an 8-0 victory. Rummel forfeited on Line 3.
With the win, the Jays improve to 5-0 in dual meet play. They return to the courts on Tuesday, March 22 for a dual meet against Country Day.
