Tennis Team Beats Holy Cross, Finishes Dual Meet Season Undefeated

Juniors Jack Steib and Graham Buck led the Jesuit tennis team to a 7-0 shutout win over Holy Cross on Tuesday, April 5 at the UNO Tennis Center.
Steib chalked up an 8-1 win at Line 1 singles, while Buck defeated his opponent 8-2 at Line Two. The duo then teamed up for an 8-0 win at Line 1 doubles.
Cristian Archaga and Christian Lacoste took care of business at Lines 3 & 4 singles, with Archaga posting a shutout and Lacoste winning 8-1. Archaga and Lacoste then paired up for an 8-1 win at Line 2 doubles.
At Line 3 doubles, sophomores John Nuttli and Andrew Ryan completed the sweep with an 8-1 victory.
Jesuit finishes its dual meet season with a 9-0 record (Newman canceled a scheduled match on April 14).
The Jays are tentatively scheduled to host Vandebilt Catholic in a scrimmage on Saturday, April 16 before heading into regional play the following week.
