Alumni Mass and Jazz Reception Celebrates 2016 Alumnus of the Year

The 2016 Distinguished Military Alumnus, LtCol Justin Ansel ’91, and 2016 Alumnus of the Year, Dr. Warren Bourgeois III ’74, enjoy the Alumni Mass and Jazz Reception during Alumni Homecoming Weekend.

This year’s Alumni Mass and Jazz Reception was a huge success. Nearly 400 alumni and their guests gathered on Saturday, Oct. 1 in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs, and then after enjoyed the reception in Traditions Courtyard and the Student Commons.

At the Mass, Jesuit presented its 2016 Alumnus of the Year, Dr. Warren Bourgeois III ’74. Also recognized were the 50-, 25-, and 10-year anniversary classes, 1966, 1991, and 2006, respectively.

The lively reception included food compliments of Drago’s and Acme Oyster House, an open bar, and jazz by The Phil DeGruy Trio.
