Blue Jay Bowlers Fall to Shaw Eagles
Blue Jay bowling fell to the Shaw Eagles, 22 to 5, in the team’s seventh match up this season. The match took place on Monday, Feb. 13, at Westside Bowl in Marrero.
The Jays struggled to get ahead of the Eagles in each of the three games. They were outscored 6 to 2 in games one and two, and 7 to 1 in the third. The Blue Jays knocked over a grand total of 2691 pins to Shaw’s 3218. Sophomore Adam Francis bowled 203 and 210 games with a total series of 568.
The Blue Jays (5-2) will face Salmen on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Bowling USA in Slidell.
