Bowling Wins Big on the Lanes Against Pearl River
In their eleventh match of the season, Blue Jay bowlers dominated the Pearl River Colonels, 21-6. The match took place on Thursday, March 9, at All Star Lanes in Kenner.
The Jays took all three games with a score of 6-2. Juniors Alex Barron and Gerard Miller both shot 171 in game one. In the next match, Miller followed up that score with a 180, and junior Trent Greco shot a 198. Heading into game three with a 231 pin advantage, Greco knocked hit the lanes for a whopping 206 game. Jesuit captured all the available bonus points, ultimately outplaying their opponents by 2974 to 2730 pins.
Greco led the Blue Jays with a 578 series. Miller followed with a 501 series.
The Blue Jays (6-5) next face Chalmette on Monday, March 13, at All Star Lanes in Kenner.
