Phils to Hold Auditions for “Shrek The Musical” on Sept. 10 & 11
The Jesuit Philelectic Society will hold auditions for its fall musical, “Shrek The Musical,” on Monday, Sept. 10 and Tuesday, Sept. 11, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Click here for audition flyer.
“Shrek The Musical” is a musical with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and music by Jeanine Tesori. It is based on the 2001 DreamWorks Animation’s film “Shrek” and William Steig’s 1990 book “Shrek!” With dazzling sets, whimsical puppetry, high energy dance numbers, and laughs by the minute, “Shrek the Musical” transforms the contemporary children’s book and popular animated feature film into a stage musical that is sure to entertain. The show will be directed by Mrs. Kate Arthurs-Goldberg.
