Regular Order, Day 2

• This Wednesday, Oct. 10, is the school-wide standardized testing day. 8th and 9th graders will take the PSAT 8/9, and 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT. There is no school for seniors that day. Students in 8th through 11th grades are reminded to bring a calculator and sharpened #2 pencils for testing. Students should report to their testing rooms in full school uniform by 7:45 am. Juniors should note that they will take the PSAT with their homerooms in classrooms on the first floor. 8th and 9th graders are expected to finish testing between 11:15 and 11:45; 10th and 11th graders are expected to finish testing between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Please see your guidance counselor if you have any questions.
• The PSAT Pep Rally will he held today during the 2nd half of lunch in the courtyard. Come out and prepare your mind for a perfect score! 
• The Service and Social Justice League will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 132.
• Student 2 Student will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 202.
• The Spanish Club will meet Thursday after school in Room 322.
• Any Jesuit Medical Society member who is 16 and over and is interested in shadowing a medical professional can pick up a job shadow form from the bulletin board outside of Room 403. Forms can be turned into Mrs. Younger in Room 403 or Mrs. Smith in Room 313.
• 8^th graders trying out for the basketball team are reminded to drop off their blue forms in Room 225.  Anyone who missed last week’s meeting should see Mr. Murphy for more information.
• Seniors: College application workshops will be held on Tuesday and Thursday of this week both before and after school. College counselors will be available from 7-7:45 before school and from 3-3:45 after school on both days in CL-3. Stop by with any questions you may have.
• Admissions representatives from Centenary College of Louisiana and Loyola University New Orleans will be available during lunch today in Rooms 121 and 122.
• Intramural football games are cancelled today.
• Top’s tip of the day: There is never a right time to do the wrong thing.
