Regular Order, Day 4

• Student 2 Student will meet today and tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 202.
• The Foosball Club and Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today and Thursday during the second half of lunch in Room 329.
• The Fencing Club will meet today after school in Room 239. New members are welcome.
• Students participating in the Tulane Model UN Conference will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 214.
• Top’s tip of the day: Pick up litter – it does make a difference in the appearance of this school.

Results:

• Last week members of the Cross Country team ran in the district meet finishing District runners-up.  Leading the Jays were Sophomore Jack Wallace, Junior Luke LaCour and Freshman Morgan Hebert.  Finishing out the scoring was Senior Harrison LeBlanc and Junior Griffin Winn.   Jack Wallace and Luke LaCour earned All-District honors finishing in the top ten. 
• Congratulations to the JV football team that defeated the Chalmette Owls, 28-7 this past Saturday. Offensively Grant Jordan and Kyle Wickersham each threw touchdown passes. Reed Wakefield and Jordan Hughes each had rushing touchdowns and Joe Lombardi had 2 receiving touchdowns. Defensively Tripp Haddad had an interception while A.J. Alvarez and Max Jumonville provided consistent pressure.
• Congrats to the Varsity Football Team Friday that mounted a furious come back that came up just short in their loss to Destrehan High School, 28-23.  Offensively, Willie Robinson, Brenden Bergren and sophomore Winn Shibler scored touchdowns. Defensively the Jays were lead in tackles by Perry Gancy and Matthew Sauviac while both players each had sacks for losses.
