Jays Triumph Over Eagles in District Opener, 8-0
The Jesuit High School (JHS) soccer team traveled to the Westbank and returned home with a 8-0 district-opening win over Shaw.
Jesuit gained the upper hand in the 15th minute when Sebi Maraldo found Cameron Cancienne for a goal. Maraldo then scored one of his own in the 31st minute, which brought the Jays to a 2-0 halftime lead. This would allow JHS to pour it on in the second half with six more goals. Freshman Mason Baglio recorded two saves in goal.
