Information about Application Day
- APPLICATION DAY AND ACTIVITIES: Application Day at Jesuit High School is on Saturday, January 12, 2019. All applicants must be present. Application Day activities will involve the following:
- attendance check (roll call) of students applying to Jesuit High School;
- verification of receipt of appropriate records and/or notification that essential items are needed;
- administration of the High School Placement Test.
- WHERE TO REPORT: On Application Day, enter Jesuit High School from the schoolyard. You may enter the schoolyard from Banks Street at the corner of Solomon Street. Report to the Student Commons where lists of applicants and test room numbers will be posted. Find your name, next to which will be the classroom number to which you should report. Jesuit students and faculty members will be available to show you where to find your test room.
- WHEN TO REPORT: Applicants must report to their assigned classrooms no later than 7:40 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Parents are asked to drop their sons off before 7:30 a.m.; they may return to pick them up at 11:30 a.m.
- WHAT TO BRING/EXPECT: Please bring two (2) sharpened No. 2 (soft lead) pencils with erasers. Do not bring calculators. Casual attire is appropriate. In addition to the High School Placement Test, applicants will be asked to write brief responses to a few questions.
- The Jesuit Alumni Association invites parents of applicants to have coffee and donuts in the Student Commons from 7:30 to 11:15 a.m. Parking is available in the schoolyard.
- Parents are requested to remain in the Student Commons. Parents are not permitted in the hallways before or during the High School Placement Test.
- Letters of acceptance or refusal will be mailed on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
