Tryouts for next year’s Cheerleading Team are on Saturday, April 13, in Jesuit High School’s gymnasium on Banks Street.

Tryouts are open to anyone who will be attending an all-girls Catholic school in the 2019-20 school year and will be entering grades 9-12. Tryouts are designed for all cheerleader hopefuls as well as returning cheerleaders. The co-ed squad performs at basketball and football games, parades, school functions, and state cheering competitions.

Registration begins promptly at 1 p.m. For tryouts, you will learn a cheer, a chant, and a small dance routine. Teaching takes place in the afternoon with judging in the evening.

Please wear a full-length white shirt, modest athletic shorts, and tennis shoes.

Attire

Have ALL of your hair pulled back and out of your face. Hair must be in a high ponytail.

What to Bring

Pack your lunch and bring plenty of water.

Class – 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Practice Time – 4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Judging – 5 – 6:30 p.m.
