The Class of 1984, led by reunion co-chairs Nicky Hazard and Ward Rice and their committee, held its 35-year reunion over the weekend of June 14 and 15.
On Friday night the ’84 Jays went solo on Tchoupitoulas Street and stepped up to the balcony of Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar, whose CEO is Kevin Armantrout ’84. For Saturday’s event, the guys and their dates dressed hotel-fancy as they celebrated a couples night at The Parlor At The Pontchartrain. There they enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Jack Rose and wonderful service in an event space that is tucked away behind the iconic St. Charles Avenue hotel.
