Assembly Order #3, Day 3

• Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place today in the 2nd floor chapel. Benediction will begin at 12:50.
• The Field Games Club will meet today during lunch on Will Clark Field.
• The Heavy Metal Society will meet today in Room 311 to share some hardcore king cake and plan for the yearbook picture.
• Jesuit’s chapter of Students Demand Action will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 202.
• Politics and Pastries will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 323.
• The varsity wrestling team will compete in the state tournament in Bossier City on today and tomorrow.
• Students interested in signing up for the Born to Run 5k and fun run to support the Women’s New Life Clinic can do so through the link on the Jesuit website. The deadline to register is February 20.
• The varsity basketball team will host Brother Martin tonight in the Benson Arena with tip off set for 7:00.  The jv game begins at 5:45, while the 9^th grade game starts at 4:30.
• The jv basketball team will compete in the district tournament on Saturday at Shaw.
• The varsity baseball team will scrimmage at Hahnville on Saturday starting at 9:00.
• An admission representative from Texas A&M University will be available during lunch today in Room 122.

Results:

• On Tuesday, the basketball team defeated Shaw 56 – 51 in double overtime. Matthew Knight led all scorers with 24 points. Porter Lichtl had a double – double, scoring 11 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. The defensive effort was led by the play of Malcolm Baldwin and Adrien Foley.
• The freshman basketball team defeated Shaw 39 – 24. Leading scorers for the team were Rayfield Lotten with 13 and Brock Guilliot with 10.
• The JV team defeated Shaw 40-36 in overtime. Holden Hess scored 20 to lead all scorers.
