Class of 2020 Celebrates Senior Day With Jambalaya Drive-Thru Lunch
On Friday, May 1, 2020, one thing was abundantly clear, Jesuit High School loves its students and its students love it. The campus came to life one more time this school year to give its seniors a proper send-off. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, faculty and staff donned masks and held handmade signs to cheer on the Class of 2020 as they drove down S. Solomon Street to receive a packed Jambalaya lunch. Behind each windshield was a smiling senior excited to see so many familiar faces. Teachers greeted their students warmly, asking what colleges they were going to be attending in the fall and wishing them well for the summer. Although it might not have looked like Senior Days from the past, upon seeing their favorite teachers and faculty, the gallant fighting sons flew just a little higher that day.
