Day 3

• Co-curricular Rush Day will take place Thursday during lunch on the third floor of the Roussell Building. Use the pedestrian walkway to discover this year’s student life co-curricular offerings. Sign-up for a club or team and get involved.
• For any student (8th – 12th grade) to be academically eligible to participate on any Jesuit athletic team in the spring semester (January-May), the student is required to have passed 6 courses in the fall semester. If a student is taking only 5 courses in the fall, he must pass all 5 courses to maintain eligibility. If a student is taking 7 courses in the fall, he is required to pass 6 of the 7 courses to maintain eligibility. Students who do not meet this requirement will not be eligible to play a spring sport or continue in a winter sport. Winter and spring sports include basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball, tennis, track and field, golf, and bowling. Athletes who have questions regarding their spring athletic eligibility should see their coach or their guidance counselor as soon as possible.
• Any 8^th grade student interested in trying out for the 8^th grade soccer team should attend an organizational meeting at lunch today in the auditorium.  Each respective meeting begins at 11:30 and 12:15.
• Seniors attending the rescheduled Kairos Retreat on Nov. 1 – 3 should meet in the auditorium at the start of each half of the lunch. See Mr. Flores if you cannot attend.
• There will be an informational meeting for all those interested in joining Sodality tomorrow during the second half of both lunches in the 3^rd floor chapel. All are welcome.
• The Lacrosse program will hold an informational meeting tomorrow at 6:15pm in the Auditorium. All returning players, as well as new and interested students, are invited to attend.
• Anyone can join the Paintball Club. We are having our first outing this Saturday. No experience or equipment needed.  Permission forms are available outside the ROTC office. Any questions please see Master Gunnery Sergeant Piseno. 
• A limited amount of Jesuit senior-only pre-sale tickets for Sunday afternoon’s varsity football game vs. St. Augustine at Tad Gormley Stadium will be made available for purchase today or until our allotment runs out during the lunch periods in the Commons.  The price of a Jesuit senior-only ticket is $5.00.
• Halloween Movie Night will take place on Friday, October 30th at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. See the posted flyers for more details.
• Registration for AP exams takes place this and next week. Students who are interested in taking these exams, whether or not they are enrolled in AP classes, should check the Academics tab on the Jesuit website for further information about the exam registration process. In order to not be charged a $40 late fee, online registration must be completed by Friday, Oct. 30.
• Admission representatives from Georgetown University and Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University will be available immediately after school today in Rooms 120-122.
• Coach’s Comment:  The penalty for missing PH without a note from a teacher regarding testing make-ups or tutoring sessions is now an automatic  3-day PH.  Do not miss PH.  All PH’s are to be served on the date scheduled.
