Day 1

• Co-curricular Rush Day will take place today during lunch on the third floor of the Roussell Building. Use the pedestrian walkway to discover this year’s student life co-curricular offerings. Sign-up for a club or team and get involved.
• All freshmen are to report to the auditorium at the start of their respective lunch periods on Friday, Oct. 23, for a class level meeting with Coach Songy.  Do not miss this meeting.
• Any 8th grade student interested in trying out for the 8th grade basketball team should attend an organizational meeting today during lunch (at 11:30 and 12:15) in Benson Arena.
• The varsity football team will face St. Augustine on Sunday afternoon at Tad Gormley Stadium with kickoff set for 1:30.  There are no available tickets for this game.The varsity football team will face St. Augustine at Tad Gormley on Sunday afternoon with kickoff set for 1:30.  A very limited amount of tickets will be available for purchase at the switchboard today.  All tickets are $10.00 each for adults, students, and children.
• Soccer tryouts for the JV and Varsity soccer teams only will begin on Monday, Oct. 26. Soccer tryouts for the 8th and 9th Grade teams will begin on Monday, Nov. 2. All tryouts will be held at the soccer fields on Marconi Drive in City Park. Tryouts will start at 3:30 and finish at 5:15.
• Registration for AP exams takes place this and next week. Students who are interested in taking these exams, whether or not they are enrolled in AP classes, should check the Academics tab on the Jesuit website for further information about the exam registration process. In order to not be charged a $40 late fee, online registration must be completed by Friday, Oct. 30.
• Admission representatives from Dartmouth College and Trinity University will be available immediately after school today in Rooms 120-122.
