Day 6

• The ping pong tournament continues today during the second half of lunch for Seniors.
• Students interested in trying out for the varsity baseball team this year, will meet today after school in the baseball locker room.
• Students interested in trying out for the varsity bowling team will need to attend tryouts on the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 3. Start time is 3:50 at Colonial Lanes in Harahan.
• Because the trash situation in the courtyard continues to be unacceptable, the drink and snack machines will be closed for one week or until the trash situation is resolved.  Do not ask for these to be turned on and start forming a habit of taking care of our campus.

Results:

• Last Monday night, the basketball team defeated Morris Jeff 100-42. Michael Britsh led the way with 22 points, Patrick Lavie had 20, Porter Lichtl and Matthew Knight each had 12 and Malcolm Baldwin added 10. Patrick Lavie had 9 rebounds. Last Wednesday, The basketball team defeated Bonnabel, 57-49. Leading the scoring effort was matthew Knight with 14, Patrick Lavie and Porter Lichtl each had 13. Josh Washington had 12 rebounds and the defense was led by the play of Christopher Gillen. Finally, on Friday the team defeated East Ascension 78–63. We had five players score in double figures – Porter Lichtl had 17, Matthew Knight and Josh Washington each had 16 and Patrick Lavie and Jack Lo each had 12.Josh Washington had 14 rebounds and Matthew Knight had 6 assists.  Congratulations.
