Day 6

• The 8^th grade soccer team will host Brother Martin this afternoon at John Ryan Stadium starting at 4:00.  The 9^th grade game starts at 5:15, while the jv game follows at 6:45.
• The varsity soccer team will host Brother Martin on Saturday at John Ryan Stadium starting at 1:00.  A limited amount of tickets are on sale at the switchboard starting today through Friday from 7:30-4:00 or until we are sold out.  Tickets are $5.00 for Jesuit students and $6.00 for adults and children.  Note that student id’s will not be accepted at the gate.
• The 9^th grade basketball team will host St. Augustine this evening in the Benson Arena starting at 6:00 p.m.
• Do you know why mathematicians wear glasses when they play Chess? It improves di-vision!  You can learn this and other helpful hints at today’s Chess Club Meeting at 3:15 p.m. in Room 332.  New members are always welcome.
• The Pro-Life Club will meet tomorrow during the first half of both lunch periods. First lunch will meet in Room 316. Second lunch will meet in Room 407.

Results:

• The school-wide ping pong tournament ended on Friday in epic fashion as 8th grader Jake Bravo shocked the Commons by narrowly beating Senior Patrick May in a three game thriller that went into extra points. Both competitors received gift certificates to the Blue Jay Shop. Honorable mentions belong to Bennett Ducasse for capturing the Sophomore title with his win over Luke Gilmore and LT for claiming victory in the Faculty & Staff division. Congratulations to all grade level winners and thank you to all who participated and supported the Thanksgiving Drive.
