Day 1

• Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place today in the 2^nd floor chapel.
• Homerooms are encouraged to decorate their doors as Mardi Gras floats as we head towards Fat Tuesday. Wrapping paper is available in the Student Council Office, Room 113. Ask your homeroom representative for more details. 
• The Rubik’s Cube Club will hold its first meeting today during the first half of both lunches. First lunch will meet in Room 112. Second lunch will meet in Room 212.
• The Animation Club will hold its first meeting today during the second half of lunch in Room 322. New members are welcome.
• The varsity basketball team will host Shaw tonight in the Benson Arena with tip off set for 7:00.  The JV game begins at 5:30.  On Saturday evening the varsity continues district play hosting Rummel in the Benson Arena with tip off set for 5:00.  There is no JV game prior to the varsity game on Saturday.  Note that there are no tickets available for each of the varsity games.  Do not show up to the gym expecting to gain admission.  Thanks so much for your understanding.
• The 8^th grade basketball team will host Archbishop Hannan on Saturday morning in the Benson Arena starting at 10:00.  The 9^th grade game follows at 11:30.
• Students who received a recommendation form for Honors science are reminded to turn in the forms by Wednesday, Feb. 10 to Mrs. Tassin in Room 317. You must turn the form in regardless of your decision.
• Juniors are reminded that registration for Kairos is now available. Please register on the school’s website under the “Spirituality” web page. Spots are available on first come first serve basis and the deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 12.  See Mr. Flores in the Campus Ministry Office with any questions.
