Today is Monday, February 8, 2021

Day 7

  • The St. Peter Claver Club will have a brief meeting immediately after school today in Room 210.
  • The bowling team faces Central this afternoon at Premier Lanes in Gonzales starting at 3:20.
  • The 9th grade basketball team plays at Rummel this evening starting at 5:30.  The 8th grade game follows at 6:45.
  • The Jesuit community is invited to participate in two upcoming service events. On Saturday, Jesuit will work with the Pontchartrain Conservancy to plant 400 cypress trees in a St. Bernard Parish swamp. On Monday (Lundi Gras), Jesuit will work with Sustaining Our Urban Landscape to plant trees at Hardin Park in the 7th Ward. See Mr. Murphy in Room 225 for more information. All are welcome.  
  • Students are not allowed to eat on the third floor balcony.  No exceptions.

Resukts:

  • The basketball team had two wins over the weekend. On Friday, The team defeated Shaw 60-48. Porter Lichtl had a game high 26 points and 14 rebounds. Matthew Knight had 12. Josh Washington controlled the lane with 4 blocked shots.On Saturday, the basketball team defeated Rummel 65-44. Matthew Knight and Porter Lichtl each had 17 points, Patrick Lavie added 12.
