Jesuit alumni are getting surprised this week. Instead of receiving calls from classmates asking for support, Blue Jay grads are being thanked for the gifts they’ve already provided.

The two-night “thank you” event is just one of the improvements rolled out for the 2020-2021 drive. The AGD began in October with “ask” calls being made from homes rather than from school.

The official solicitation period, which has been shortened significantly, wrapped up in January with a thank you video from Jesuit president Fr. John Brown, S.J.

The drive will conclude in May with hand-written notes from students to alumni thanking them for their generosity that is helping keep Jesuit affordable and thriving.
