Day 1
- The varsity baseball team will host Brother Martin tonight at John Ryan Stadium with first pitch set for 6:00.
- The varsity tennis team begins play in the regional tournament this morning at City Park starting at 8:00.
- Jesuit Medical Society invites interested students to hear guest speaker, family medicine and urgent care doctor Clayton Mazoue ’92, on Thursday at 3:25 in Room 317. Sign up with Mrs. Tassin in Room 317 to attend.
Results:
- On Sunday, the varsity baseball team defeated Archbishop Rummel 5-0. Ryan Porche pitched a complete game and had 8 strikeouts. Tripp Haddad went 3-4 at the plate with four RBI’s.
- This past weekend, Jesuit’s Bass Fishing team competed in the inaugural LHSAA state championship. Sophomores Jason Thompson and Harry Reinhardt weighed in the most poundage for the Jays over the 2 day competition. Senior, Carter Morris, caught the biggest bass for Jesuit at just under 5 pounds. Senior Jacob Reinhardt, freshmen William Brooks and Emerson Piacun, and 8th grader Peter Marsiglia all put fish on the leaderboard. Go Jays!
- This evening the ROTC will have a change of command ceremony for the Cadet Battalion. We would like to thank and wish “Fair winds and following seas” to the outgoing Seniors; Commanding Officer Dominic Moore, Executive Officer Max Younger and Sergeant Major Joaquin Enamorado. We would also like to congratulate and welcome the Juniors who were chosen to be the top 3 leaders of the Battalion for next school year. Commanding Officer Joseph Finger, Executive Officer Peter Gravolet and Sergeant Major Sam Mermilliod. Congratulations to all of these outstanding students for their success.
