After-School Bites are Just Around the Corner
Looking for a quick snack after exams or a long school day? Look no further than down the street. Located at 4400 Banks Street, Mid City Pizza (MCP) is a short 2 block walk from Jesuit.
When I heard that they started serving pizza by the slice, I had to stop by and try it. After a brief walk down Banks, I was already inside placing my order for a slice of pepperoni pizza. The wait time was short, and the slice came right out of the oven. My giant slice of pepperoni was the perfect snack before heading back to school for a meeting.
The atmosphere is chill and cool, especially when they have their big windows open to enjoy the springtime weather. With both indoor and outdoor seating, MCP is perfect for going solo or with a small group. They have plenty of specialty pizza options in addition to appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and calzones.
No matter what you’re looking for, Mid City Pizza is a great local option for afternoon eats, open Thursday through Monday.
