Blue Jay Football Makes Waves in Local Press
With recently named Jesuit head football coach Ryan Manale taking the helm of the Blue Jay football program, local media outlets have been taking a keen interest in Jesuit’s upcoming football season.
“I think they’re learning me and I’m learning them,” Manale told WGNO about the 2021 team. “I’m super excited about the way they’re working in this off season. We had a good spring, and I’m really trying to put good people around them. I couldn’t be happier with where we’re at right now.”
Fox 8 featured Jesuit’s senior quarterback, Jack Larriviere, on July 8.
“I started off, I went to TCU and Texas Tech,” Larriviere told Fox 8. “Then I worked my way North and went to a few Ivy League schools, such as Princeton and University of Pennsylvania. I plan on visiting Yale, Harvard, and Columbia by the end of July.”
“I always say: good things happen to good people, and Jack’s a good person,” said Manale. “He’s phenomenal off the field and in the classroom. He works extremely hard. Right now he’s visiting some Iyy League skills and has some Ivy League interests, but his leadership and what he does off the field are even more important than what he does on the field for me.”
“It’s just an honor,” Manale added. “I’m just excited for Jesuit football.”
Blue Jay families and fans can now purchase season tickets for the upcoming season.
