Regular Order, Day 7

• The varsity football team will open its season on Friday afternoon hosting Riverdale at Pan American Stadium with kickoff set for 3:15 p.m.  Pre-sale tickets are $8.00 each and will be available for purchase at the switchboard Wednesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.  All tickets purchased at the gate are $10.00 each.  Note that both season tickets and previously purchased Hahnville Jamboree tickets will be accepted at the gate.
• Students from any grade level interested in leading the Gizzard, Jesuit’s world famous student section, should meet today during the first half of the first lunch in Room 112 and during the first half of the second lunch in Room 219.
• The Investment Club will meet today during the second half of both lunches. First lunch will meet in Room 334, and second lunch will meet in Room 219. People with experience in the best stock picking service and with an interest in the stock market and new Blue Jays looking for a club are welcome.
• The NHS recycling program will continue today at 3 p.m. in Room 115. All current members and all juniors who have submitted their NHS applications are encouraged to participate. 
• The Robotics Team will meet tonight from 6:30-8:00 in Room 307.
• Students interested in joining the Jesuit Medical Society will meet for a brief information meeting tomorrow during lunch. Go to Room 317 during the either half of first lunch period or to Room 313 during either half of the second lunch period.  See Mrs. Tassin if you have questions.
• Any students interested in playing Blooms Tower Defense 6, a tower defense strategy video game, should meet tomorrow after school in the Commons.
• Students interested in joining the beach volleyball club will practice next Monday through Thursday from 4:30-6:30pm at Coconut Beach in Kenner.  See Mrs. Catalano with any questions.
• Juniors should submit their Kairos Registration form to the Campus Ministry Office tomorrow. Any Junior needing to change retreats should register for his retreat on the Kairos Canvas page. See Mr. Flores with any questions.
• All Juniors who are currently enrolled in the Ray Dass Scholars’ program, should meet today during the first half of lunch of their lunch period in St. Ignatius Hall.
• College visits for juniors and seniors start next week.  They will take place during the second half of first lunch and the first half of second lunch.  All scheduled visits have been updated in your college counseling course on Canvas, so please check to see if the colleges you are interested in are visiting Jesuit this year.  There is no need to sign up, just show up. 
• Seniors: Counseling Request Forms for college applications that have a deadline of October 15^th are due tomorrow. Please see your college counselor with any questions. 
• This is a reminder that bracelets and other jewelry are not to be worn and are not considered as part of your school uniform.  Please remove these items.  If you believe that you have a special circumstance that deserves consideration, see Coach Songy.
