Regular Order, Day 2
- Check out the latest episode of the Ten Minute Break podcast. Junior Roland Waguespack joins the discussion to give his advice on how to get a homecoming date, thoughts on the communion of saints, and his “keys to the game” for Jesuit vs. Rummel. Available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
- The varsity football team will close out the regular season tomorrow night hosting Rummel at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:00. Pre-sale tickets are $8.00 each for adults and students (non-participating teams) and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11). Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase through Friday at the switchboard from 7:30-3:30. Both student and faculty ID’s, as well as season passes will be accepted at the gate for admission.
- Tomorrow will be a Blue and White Day. Wear a blue, white, or blue and white collared shirt or a Jesuit imprinted t-shirt tomorrow to show your Blue Jay Spirit.
- The Homecoming Dance will take place on campus this Saturday, Nov. 6, from 7:00 – 10:30 pm. Attire is coat and tie. Tickets are $40 per couple and can be purchased at the Student Council Office (Room 113) before school, during lunch, and after school today through Friday.
- Seniors can now cast their final vote for Homecoming Court. The result will be announced Friday during halftime of the football game.
- Members of Mu Alpha Theta attending the St. Paul’s Tournament next weekend will meet today during the second half of lunch in Rooms 227 & 229 for practice.
- The Pro-Life Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
- The Star Wars Club will join the Anime Club today during the second half of lunch in Room 331 for a viewing of Star Wars Visions, episode 2.
- The Investment Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 334. Members may bring their powered-off phones to the meeting.
- The Asian Culture Club will meet today after school in Room 121.
- The Movie Critics Club will meet today after school in Room 220 to watch The Sting, the only con-man caper movie to win the Best Picture Oscar.
- The Tabletop Role-Playing Society will meet tomorrow after school in Room 120.
- The 9th grade football team will play at Rummel this afternoon starting at 4:00. The 8th grade game follows at 5:15.
- 8th grade basketball tryouts begin tomorrow after school in the gym. Students must turn in all LHSAA forms in order to try out. See Coach Murphy in Room 225 with any questions.
- Freshmen who participated in a Fall sport and are interested in trying out for the Basketball Team will have the opportunity tomorrow after school in the gym. Please see Coach Eckholdt in the Guidance Office with any questions.
- Printing fees for the month of October have been distributed in homeroom. Students must pay these fees before Wednesday, Nov. 10 to avoid losing computer services. Payments are accepted in Room 215 before school, during break, and during lunch in Room 215.
- Coach’s Comment: Our expectations of ourselves must be higher than our expectations of others. Don’t expect others to exceed your expectations if you are not working to exceed your own.
- Intramural football games for today and tomorrow have been cancelled.
