Regular Order, Day 5
- The varsity football team will host John Curtis in the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs tonight at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:00. Pre-sale tickets are $9.00 each for adults, students, and children. Pre-sale tickets may be purchased at the switchboard until 3:30 p.m. today. All tickets purchased at the gate are $10.00 each. Note that student ID’s and season passes are not accepted at the gate for any LHSAA playoff contest.
- The Phils game of Clue: The Musical continues tonight and tomorrow night at 7:30pm in the auditorium, plus a 2:00pm matinee tomorrow afternoon. The show changes every performance as our audience determines Who did it? With what weapon? and in Which room? Get tickets on the Phils page of the Jesuit website or stop by the Phils office, Room 201, at lunch for the advanced student ticket price of $5.00.
- There will be a short but mandatory meeting for all students taking driver’s ed today at the beginning of lunch in Room 229.
- Try-outs for students interested in Jesuit’s LHSAA varsity bowling team will be held Monday at AMF Lanes on Williams Blvd. in Kenner. Start time will be at 4:00 p.m. You are required to attend at least one try-out to be considered for the varsity team.
- The swim team will compete in the state meet in Sulphur today and tomorrow. Prelims begin today at 9:30 a.m. with the finals set for 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
- The varsity basketball team will open its season on Saturday evening at St. Paul’s with tip off set for 5:00. The jv game begins at 4:00.
- The 9th grade basketball team will compete in the Hahnville Tournament on Saturday.
- The varsity wrestling team will compete in the Gulf Coast Clash in Mobile starting this afternoon at 2:30 and on Saturday morning beginning at 8:30.
- The varsity soccer team will open its season on Saturday vs. Ocean Springs at Lafreniere starting at 12:00. The jv game follows at 1:45.
- There will be no assembly on Monday. Students should report directly to homeroom on Monday morning to prepare for the Thanksgiving Drive.
