Regular Order, Day 3

• The Calliope staff will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 220.
• Politics and Pastries will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 323 for the Yearbook photo. 
• The bowling team will face East Jefferson at AMF Lanes this afternoon starting at 3:20.
• Any juniors interested in doing Krewe de Camp for their service project should attend a meeting tomorrow at the start of lunch in Room 212.
• The Jesuit Men of Color will host former Jesuit Alumnus of the Year Dooky Chase III on Wednesday during the first half of lunch in Room 210. Mr. Chase will speak about the history of the Civil Rights movement in New Orleans, with a focus on the role of his family restaurant as a gathering place for local and national leaders. 
• Students who received invitations for Honors Physics are reminded to turn in the form to Mrs. Tassin by Friday, Feb 18. 

Results:

• On Saturday the 8th grade basketball team improved its record to 13-6 with a close, two-point victory over Holy Cross. With 20 seconds left, the score tied, and Holy Cross having the ball, Zachary LaGraize got a huge steal and raced to the goal for a contested layup. The ball rimmed out, but Sven Jensen had hustled down court and put the rebound back up off the glass for two points. Jays win.
• On Friday the varsity basketball team defeated Holy Cross 62-49. The team had four players scoring in double figures. Senior Matthew Knight had another Double, Double scoring 21 points and pulling down 11 Rebounds, Freshman Jasper parker scored 12, Senior Michael Britsch and Sophomore Jude LaForge each had 11.
