Regular Order, Day 4

• Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place throughout the day in the 2nd floor chapel. Benediction will begin at 12:50.
• The Admissions office invites all Senior Big Brothers to a BBQ luncheon in the courtyard today.
• The Mission Drive Auction concludes today at the end of lunch. Come to the commons to place your final bids before the bell rings. 
• The Green Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 416.
• Student Council invites all Freshmen to Will Clark Field today during the second half of lunch for ice cream bars and music.
• The Tabletop Role-Playing Society will meet today after school in Room 120.
• Junior Prom will be held tonight from 8-11 pm at Jefferson-Orleans South. Couples must arrive by 9pm. Once you arrive you cannot leave the dance until 11pm. Tickets are $40 per couple presale and $50 at the door.
• The varsity rugby team will compete in the state championship match vs. Brother Martin at NOLA Gold Stadium on Airline Dr. on Saturday afternoon starting at 3:30. The jv rugby team will face Brother Martin on the field adjacent to NOLA GOLD Stadium starting at 1:00. Tickets for the Championship are $15 and can be purchased on the link on the Jesuit website.
• The varsity lacrosse team will face Captain Shreve in a state quarterfinal playoff contest at St. Thomas More in Lafayette on Saturday starting at 7:00.
• The junior varsity lacrosse team will play at Holy Cross on Saturday starting at 11:00.
• The varsity baseball team will play at Vandebilt Catholic on Saturday starting at 12:00.
• Seniors: Your College Information Year End Survey is due today.  The link and instructions are in the first module of the College Counseling Canvas class. Don’t forget you need to bring a printed, signed copy with scholarships to the Counseling Office.  Let your college counselor know if you have any questions.

Results:

• Congratulations to Matthew Knight who was a Honorable Mention selection for the Louisiana Sports Writers  Association 5A All-State Basketball Team.
• The Quiz Bowl team recently competed against teams from across the country in the 3-2-1 Online Tournament. The Varsity team led by Andrew Cavignac and featuring Dominic Gennaro, Zane Madi, Conlan Pausina, Collin Pelitere, Derek Tsang, and Wade Rogers placed 6^th nationwide and were the top team from Louisiana. The JV team of captain Christian Thomas, Brayden Laurent, Cole Maestri, Elijah Perrien, James Redmann, Carter Rigney, Thomas Schmitt, and Aidan Wang turned in an impressive performance to win their division, defeating all other JV teams from across the country. Congratulations, Quiz Bowl!
• On Tuesday,  the golf team finished first in the LHSAA district tournament.  With the first place finish, the Jays qualified for the regional tournament.  Merrick Rotolo, Morgan Hebert, Taylor Boasberg, Jacob Schorr, and Owen Bourg all scored well in the competition.
