Regular Order, Day 7

• Adoration will take place today from 8am-3pm in the 2nd floor chapel.
• Join us today during lunch in the courtyard for the first Brown Bag concert of the year featuring The Vigil Project, a Louisiana-based band who will be performing at the Sep. 24 NOLA Catholic Youth Conference happening here at Jesuit. Sign-ups for the conference will be available during the concert.
• The varsity football team will host Lafayette Christian Academy tonight at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:00.  Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at the switchboard until 3:30 today.  Pre-sale ticket prices are $8.00 each. Student ID’s will not be accepted at the gate.
• Homecoming Court Nomination Forms are now available on the Student Life course on Canvas. These forms must be printed out and turned in by the start of school on Monday.
• National Honor Society will meet today during the first half of lunch in the auditorium. 
• New Peer support members will meet today during the second half of the lunch in the auditorium. If you have not turned in your commitment form, please bring it to the meeting.
• The Anime Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 116.
• The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
• All seniors interested in going on the March for Life this January in Washington, DC should meet with Mr. Delatte today during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
• The Jesuit Investment Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 334.
• The Barbershop Blue Jays a capella singing group will meet today from 3:15-4:00 in Room 202. 
• The 9^th grade football team will play at Catholic on Saturday morning starting at 10:00.
• The varsity cross country team will compete in the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, AL on Saturday at 8:40 a.m.
• The Jesuit Philelectic Society is holding auditions on Monday for the fall production of the comedy, Harvey from 4:00-6:00.  Audition forms and information are available in the Phils Office, Room 201, and on the Jesuit website.
• Dues for members of the Dissection Club are to be paid by Friday, Sept. 23. Members should check their Canvas email for details. See Mrs. Tassin if you have questions.
• Registration for intramural football for all grades is open. Forms may be found outside of the student council office, Room 113, and on Canvas. All forms and fees are due by Wednesday, Sept. 21 to Mr. Augustin. 
• Seniors: Counseling Request Forms for college applications that have deadline dates between Oct. 2 and Oct. 15 are due today. Please see your college counselor with any questions.

Results:

• The Jesuit Swimming Team opened up district competition against brother martin on Wednesday. The Jays won all 11 events for a meet sweep….outstanding swims from Truman Breithaupt, Joseph Capo, Jack Primeaux, Duy Trinh, and Kolbe Hanemann. The final score was 135 to 35. Go Jays!
