Kicking off the Evening of Reflection Series for Jesuit’s 175th year, Jesuit’s chaplain Fr. Jon Polce, S.J., delivered a special reflection entitled “Cultivating a Baseball Spirituality” in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs. Having been recently ordained a priest, Fr. Polce arrived at Jesuit this year to take the lead on students’ spiritual formation opportunities.

After concelebrating a Mass celebrated by Fr. Stephen Kramer, S.J., Fr. Polce explained, “Baseball is near and dear to my heart as is God, and so tonight I get to bring those two things together.” As a former baseball player and coach, Fr. Polce connected his love of baseball with relatable spiritual advice for attendees and listeners.
