Regular Order, Day 5

• Come enjoy fellowship, a talk, prayer, and a free dinner with students from both Jesuit and Dominican at Campus Ministry’s Truth & Glory event next Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 4-6:30pm. Register with Mr. Miraflor or Mr. Blair in the new Campus Ministry office, Room 103, next to the old switchboard.
• The Classic Rock Club will take its yearbook picture today at the start of the second half of lunch in Room 203.
• The Fencing Club will meet today after school in Room 307.
• The varsity wrestling team will compete un the South Walton Border Wars Tournament in Santa Rosa Beach, FL this evening and on Saturday.
• The varsity soccer team will compete in the Copa Acadiana Tournament in Lafayette this evening and on Saturday.
• The varsity basketball team will conclude pool play in the Jesuit Invitational Tournament tonight vs. Northshore in the Benson Arena with tip off set for 7:30.
• The 8^th grade basketball team will compete in the Rummel Tournament on Saturday.

Results:

• On Monday, the basketball team travelled to the Bayou Country and defeated H.L. Bourgeois 84-49. The hoopsters had a balance scoring attack with five scoring in double figures. Will Sheridan led the way with 19, followed by Jude Laforge with 16, Josh Washington and Jack Lo each had 15 and Jace Larsen added 13.  Jace had 8 assists, while Will Sheridan and Josh Washington each pulled down 8 rebounds.
• In the opening round of the Jesuit Invitational basketball Tournament, Behind a spirited Gizzard, the squad defeated De La Salle 58—36.  The outstanding defensive effort was led by the play of Jude Laforge and Jace Larsen that held the opposition to 13 second half points. The offensive was led by Jack Lo who scored 25 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for his first double, double of the season.
