Fr. Roy Joseph, S.J.
Christian Vocations, Jesuit New Orleans
Fr. Roy Joseph, S.J., works in the Office of Evangelization at Jesuit, providing pastoral and sacramental support to students and faculty. Originally from Georgia, Fr. Joseph pursued his education in the Atlanta area and Europe, earning a degree in medicine. He entered the Society of Jesus in 2005 in Grand Coteau. Fr. Joseph holds a master’s degree in applied philosophy with a focus on health care ethics from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Divinity from Boston College. A bi-ritual priest in the Latin and Syro-Malabar Rites, he has served as a parish priest in Denver and a retreat director in Dallas. His school ministry experience includes chaplaincy, teaching science and theology, and leading retreats and mission trips.
