Regular Order, Day 1

• Students interested in playing 8th or 9th Grade Football who are not currently with the team can see Coach Manale today at the beginning of lunch in the middle of the Commons. 
• The varsity football team will scrimmage at Mandeville this evening starting at 5:00 p.m.
• Any 8^th or 9^th graders interested in running cross country should meet Monday during the first half of lunch in Room 212.  

Results:

• Over the summer, the Quiz Bowl team competed in the National Academic Championship tournament. All three Jesuit teams made it into the playoff rounds. The Varsity team, consisting of last year’s graduates, made it all the way to the semifinals to finish as the 3^rd place team in the Varsity division. On the JV side, Jesuit’s JV B team, featuring juniors Mack Thomas and Erich Smith, sophomore Elijah Perrien, and freshman Arthur Meade, finished 8th. The JV A team, with contributions from juniors James Redmann, Carter Rigney, Klein Konrad, Christian Thomas, Aidan Wang, and Evans Wise, made it all the way to the finals but fell in a close match to finish as the runner-up, Jesuit’s best finish ever in the JV division at this tournament.
