Faculty Meeting Order, Day 6

• The Student Council Election for Pre-Freshman Class Officers will take place today during lunch in the Commons. Runoff election will take place tomorrow. 
• The Green Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 416.
• Sodality will meet today during the second half of lunch on the second floor in classrooms across from discipline. All returning sodalists and all new sodalists are required to attend. 
• The Barbershop Blue Jays a capella singing group will rehearse today from 3:00-4:15pm in Room 202.
• The Phils Tech Crew is looking for new members.  If you are a maker or have an interest in lighting, sound, construction, painting, or any other behind the scenes creative work, stop by the Phils office, Room 201, during lunch or after school.
• The Fishing club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 313.
• Any eight graders who tried out for the Jesuit golf team will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 223.
• All juniors must meet today during the first half of lunch in the auditorium for a Balfour senior ring order presentation.
• All seniors must meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in the auditorium for a Balfour graduation announcement order presentation.
• SABR, Jesuit’s chapter of the Society of American Baseball Research, will meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 331.
• The Spanish Club will meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 409.
• The Pro Life Club will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
• The swimming team will face Mandeville in a dual meet this afternoon at Franco’s starting at 3:30.
• The 8^th grade football team will host Country Day this evening at John Ryan Stadium starting at 5:30.
• The 9^th grade football team will play at East St. John this afternoon starting at 5:00 p.m.
• The varsity football team plays at Lafayette Christian on Friday night with kickoff set for 7:00.  The link to purchase tickets is on the Jesuit website.  Tickets may also be purchased at the gate using cash only for $10.  Student IDs will not be accepted.
• Jesuit will offer an Evening of Reflection this evening in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs, following a 6:30 Mass. Mr. Jeff Miraflor, SJ, will be the featured speaker, addressing The Role of Music in the Spiritual Life.
• Anyone interested in serving breakfast to the homeless with Grace at the Greenlight tomorrow should see Mr. Johns as soon as possible.
• Printing fee notices for the month of August have been sent to students via the jesuitnola.org email accounts.  Students should check their email for the notice and pay their fees by tomorrow in Room 213.
• Admissions representatives from Grinnell College and The Catholic University of America are visiting Jesuit during lunch today in the College Counseling Suite.
