Regular Order, Day 6
- Student Council Executive Board Candidate Forms are available in the Student Activities Office and on Canvas. Completed forms are due on March 7.
- Students who volunteered to donate blood on Monday are reminded to turn in permission slips to Mrs. Tassin today. Please see Mrs. Tassin if you have questions.
- The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
- The varsity baseball team will play at Belle Chasse tonight with first pitch set for 6:30. On Saturday the team will play Ascension Episcopal at 11:00 and Harrison Central (MS) at 1:30 with both games being played at Mandeville.
- The jv lacrosse team plays at St. Stanislaus on Saturday starting at 11:00.
- The 9th grade baseball team will face Lakeshore on Saturday afternoon at Delta starting at 3:00.
- The varsity rugby team will host Strake Jesuit this evening at Marconi starting at 5:30. On Saturday the team will play East Jefferson at The Gold Mine on Airline starting at 5:30.
- All intramural basketball participants must check the Referee schedule in your Outlook to avoid being in eligible for the playoffs. See Coach Martin if you have any issues or concerns.
- Any Juniors and seniors who would like to participate in the skills challenge, 3 point contest, or be nominated to play in the ALL STAR game next week must sign up today during the second half of lunch in the Commons. You may only sign up for one of the two events.
- This is a reminder to prospective Art 1 Students that you must turn in your sketches today to the box outside Room 204 to be considered for next year’s art classes.
Results:
- The Jesuit JV baseball team won two games during this week. On Monday, the Blue-Jay-Vees defeated Pope John Paul 4-0. Will Berry and Noah Casey led the way on the mound, allowing 2 hits, 0 runs, and striking out 12 batters. Zach Friloux and Brennan Chaix had 2 hits each to lead the way offensively. Then on Wednesday, the Blue-Jay-Vees defeated St. Augustine 14-2. Gage Gardere, Brennan Chaix, and Calvin Magee combined to pitch the victory, limiting the Purple Knights to only 2 hits. Will Berry, Brennan Jeansonne, Anderson Casebonne, Jackson Dugan, and Noah Alvendia drove in multiple runs to pace the offense.
