Regular Order, Day 2

• The Creative Writing Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 116.
• The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
• The Order of St Joseph will conduct a Guided Ignatian Meditation today during the second half of lunch in Room 110. All students are welcome.
• If you are interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister next year as a senior, please email Fr. Polce. There will be a mandatory training session next week for those interested. 
• Today is the Intramural March Madness Championship game in the Benson Arena during lunch. At halftime will be the spring sports pep rally honoring our spring sport athletes and musical guest Alex Grilletta. Come support the spring sports and catch the game.
• The varsity rugby team will host Strake Jesuit this evening in a Texas League playoff match at Marconi starting at 5:30.
• The varsity lacrosse team will host Brother Martin in the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs on Saturday night at Muss Bertilino starting at 6:00. Admission price for playoff game is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and children.
• Printing fees for February and March have been sent to students’ Outlook accounts (not Canvas messaging).  Students who receive a notice should pay their debt before Tuesday, April 23 in Room 215 either before school, at 10-minute break, or at the lunch hour to avoid receiving a PH and losing computer services.

Results:

• Congratulations to the Jesuit Golf team on their 147-169 victory over Holy Cross on Thursday.  Low rounds of the match belonged to Senior Preston Kuehne and Junior Finn Blake who both shot 36.  Junior Evans Wise had the best round of the match with a 35. 
• On Saturday, the 8th grade baseball team defeated Brother Martin 9-0.  Holden Roubion and Harrison Serio pitched a combined no hitter.  Cole Schmidt and Mani Vanderweghe had multiple hits.  The 8th grade baseball team beat also Northshore 5-0 on Saturday.  Julian Alvarado was the winning pitcher.  Jace DeLatte had two hits.  
• On Saturday, the 9th grade baseball team beat John Curtis 6-5.  Noah Casey threw four shutout innings and was the winning pitcher.  Brennan Chaix, Connor O’Neil and Jason Fibble each had two hits.  
• On Monday, the varsity baseball team defeated Shaw 13-0. Jake Moreci, Jackson Dugan, and Jack Sheridan combined for a one hit shutout.  Everett Denny, Marshal Serio, Luke Werling, and Michael Brothers each had two hits.  Denny opened the game with a leadoff home run.  
• Congratulations to the following Blue Jays who placed in Jesuit’s division in State Rally on Saturday, March 23, at LSU: 5^th place: Salvatore Esola, Chemistry; 4^th place: William Bellott, Computer Science I; and Andrew Duncan, Advanced Math–Pre-Calculus; 3^rd place: Corbyn Thonn, Biology II; Benjamin Evans, English III; Saahil Rab, Latin I; James Toups, Physical Science; Preston Kuehne, Physics; and Klein Konrad, Spanish IV; 2^nd place: Nate Costantini, French II; Brennen Crowe, Latin I; Brady Crowson, Latin II; and Matthew Bohnet, Spanish II; 1^st place: Luke Strain, French I; Connor Bussey, Latin II; and Christian Thomas, Spanish III; and finishing 1^st not only in Jesuit’s division but also 1^st overall in the state were Parker Alig, Economics; and Bassam al Hariri, French III.
