Regular Order, Day 6

Senior Day

• The Fishing Club and Bass Fishing Team will take yearbook pictures today during the first half of lunch on the Chapel steps.
• The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
• Join Mr. Newell and Mr. Jaskiewicz today in the courtyard for a walking rosary at 3:05pm.
• The Order of St Joseph’s Guided Ignatian Meditation today is cancelled. It will resume with the rosary on Monday during the first half of lunch in the small chapel and Guided Ignatian Meditation on Friday in Room 110.
• The varsity baseball team will play at Catholic in the quarterfinal round playoff series.  Today’s Game #2 will start at 5:00.  The “if necessary” Game #3 will be played on Saturday afternoon with first pitch set for 2:00.  Admission is $10.00.  Jesuit students with ID will be admitted free.
• The varsity track and field team will compete in the state championship meet on Saturday at LSU.  Field events begin at 1:30, while the running events start at 3:00.

Results:

• Congratulations to Freshmen Duke Nitcher who came away with the Silver Medal at the 2024 Louisiana High School Golf State Championship.  Duke shot rounds of 69 and 68 to become individual Division I state runner-up.  His round of 68 on Wednesday was the lowest round shot in Division I on that day.
