The latest issue of Jaynotes, Jesuit’s print magazine, has arrived in mailboxes around the nation. This marks the 50th volume of the magazine, which dates back to 1972 when it replaced what was then called Alumnews.

Rooted in student life but going far beyond—from an alumni-contributed piece by David Prados ’75 to the much-anticipated conclusion of the “175 Moments” series by Mat Grau ’68—this issue of Jaynotes encapsulates every dimension of the global Jesuit community coming together to form men for others on Carrollton & Banks.

Back-to-Back Issues

While this issue primarily covers the first half of the 2023-24 academic year, the next issue of Jaynotes celebrating the Class of 2024 will be arriving in the coming weeks in a “back-to-back” fashion.

In This Issue:

  • A Legacy of Leadership & Dedication: Peter Kernion ’90 Bids Farewell
  • Academic Results: 19 National Merit Semifinalists, Perfect ACTs, & One Perfect SAT
  • Men for Others from Across the Country: Jesuit’s National Advisory Board
  • Gerard Manley Hopkins, S.J. by David Prados ’75
  • 175 Moments: The Final Installment
  • Alumni Homecoming & Alumnus of the Year: Marlin Gusman ’73
  • Uniting Through Faith: Jesuit’s Inaugural Father-Son Retreat
  • Cross Country: Triumphant Three-Peat at State

… and much more!
