Regular Order, Day 4
- The varsity football team will host Jesuit Dallas in the season opener on Friday evening at Tad Gormley Stadium with kickoff set for 6:00 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at the front desk from 7:15-3:30 daily. Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for Jesuit students and children (ages 6-11). All tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each. Note that student ID’s will not be accepted at the gate for this non-district contest.
- Friday will be a Blue and White Day. Wear a blue, white, or blue and white collared shirt or a Jesuit imprinted t-shirt on Friday to show your Blue Jay Spirit. See below for guidelines.
- The theme for Friday’s football game is a Blue Out. Also, wear your Jayson hats to the game on Friday. Jayson hats can be purchased this week for $20 in the Blue Jay Shop and on Friday during lunch in the Commons. Jayson hats will return to their regular price of $25 next week.
- Co-curricular Rush Days will take place today and tomorrow during lunch in the Commons. This is a great opportunity for students to join a club. See below for list of clubs.
- Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
- The Chess team will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 311.
- All returning members of the Jesuit Esports team and the Gizzard Gaming Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 331.
- There will be a Total Sodal today. Mass will begin in the 2nd floor chapel at 12:15, followed by pizza in Ignatius Hall. All returning sodalists and aspirants are invited to attend.
- Returning National Honor Society members will meet Friday during the first half of lunch in Room 221.
- The swimming team will open its season this afternoon vs. Mandeville at Franco’s starting at 4:30.
- The 9th grade football team will host St. Charles Catholic this evening at John Ryan Stadium starting at 6:00.
- Sophomore permission slips for the Sudden Impact program at UMC’s Trauma Center were due last week. Any students who have not turned in their permission slips should do so as soon as possible in the Guidance office. Extra copies can be picked up from Ms. Joan in Guidance.
- Admissions representatives will be available today at lunch. University of Alabama will be in Room 122 and Davidson College will be in the College Counseling Suite.
