Seven Period Day, Day 6A

• Intramural basketball registration is open on IMleagues. 8^th graders must register by homeroom. Any team with an inappropriate name’s members will receive a PH. Instructions on how to sign up are on the student life page on Canvas.
• The Order of St Joseph will pray it’s weekly rosary today at the first half of lunch in the small chapel. All are welcome to attend.
• The golf team will face Shaw this afternoon at City Park starting at 4:00.
• Tryouts for Varsity and JV soccer teams only will start today after school on Field 2 of The Matt Savoie Soccer Complex in City Park.
• All students who took part in the tryouts for the tennis team will meet tomorrow after school in Room 223.

Results:

• The 8th grade swimming team won the metro middle school championships over the weekend. Down five points with one event to go, the Jays needed to win the final event. Liam Phan, Tripp Yount, Chase Vidrine, and Harrison Tschirn defeated all other schools to win the championship by one point. Congrats on the team’s undefeated season.
• The Jesuit golf team notched several victories over the last few weeks, defeating Rummel, Holy Cross, and Rummel again. Lows rounds were carded by Duke Nitcher, Brooks Blanchard, and Evans Wise. Congratulations.
• Several Jesuit golfers were also recently selected to place in the Louisiana Junior Cup, leading Team East to victory. Congratulations to William Boasberg, Nelson Bensel, and Duke Nitcher for this distinction.
