Regular Order, Day 6

  • The varsity football team will face John Curtis on Friday night at The Shrine with kickoff set for 7:00.  Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11).  Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at the front desk daily until 3:30.  All tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each.  Blue Jay fans should enter the complex via Tom Benson Way and park in Lot E.  Parking is $10.00 per vehicle.  Enter the stadium at Gate #3.  We are the visiting team for this game.  Parking, concessions, and tickets purchased at the gate are cashless.
  • Intramural basketball registration is open on IMleagues. 8th graders must register by homeroom. Any team with an inappropriate name’s members will receive a PH. Instructions on how to sign up are on the student life page on Canvas.
  • NCAA tournament bidding will take place today and ends at the end of the first half of lunch on Wednesday. Games start Thursday. If you win a bid, you must bring money by Friday or your bid will be forfeited.
  • The General Student Council will meet today during the first half of lunch in St. Ignatius Hall. 
  • The Ice Cream Social Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in the courtyard.
  • The Spanish Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 409.
  • The Blue Jay newspaper staff will meet today during the second half of lunch in the Student Life Conference Room.
  • The Movie Critics Club will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 221.
  • Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today and tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
  • Did you know New Orleans has a ‘sister city’ in Japan named Matsue? Mr. Trosclair recently traveled there on a cultural exchange trip through the Japan Society of New Orleans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our sister city relationship. He will be speaking about Matsue and his experience there on Thursday during lunch in the first-floor conference room of the Madonna della Strada building. Students interested in Japan are encouraged to attend and are welcome to bring their lunch.
  • September printing fees sent to students’ Outlook email accounts are due today by the end of the lunch hour. PHs will be issued, and computer services will be interrupted for those students who have not paid their fees in Room 215 by the end of lunch today.
