Senior Ethan Lapeze Achieves a 36 on the ACT®
Senior Ethan Lapeze earned a superscore of 36 on the ACT®, a national standardized measure of college readiness. Lapeze is an alumnus of St. Pius X and Christian Brothers and is the son of Lesley and James Lapeze.
In addition to his academic achievements, Lapeze has contributed his leadership skills and expertise to enhance Jesuit’s co-curricular activities. He has served as an executive aid on the Student Council and as president of the National Honor Society. He is also a member of the Mu Alpha Theta board, Sodality, and the basketball team.
Beyond his academic and leadership responsibilities, Lapeze actively volunteers with various service organizations, including Grace at the Greenlight and Camp Cortisol, through Sodality. He regularly visits St. Michael’s as part of his service commitments. His dedication to service is matched by his academic accolades, having received the St. Michael’s Book Award, the Bausch + Lomb Science Award, and recognition as a National Merit Semifinalist. A special mention goes to his mother, who supports him with smoothies every morning.
Lapeze aspires to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering.
Above all, Jesuit relentlessly pursues God’s greater glory. While students’ academic accolades reflect the school’s mission, they are not the mission itself. They instead signify that Blue Jays are becoming the men that they were made to be: men of faith and men for others.
Alongside celebrating students who attain these academic accomplishments, Jesuit also highlights graduating seniors who are named winners of highly selective merit-based national scholarship competitions. Click here to read about more of these students.
