Regular Order, Day 5
- Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place today until 3 pm in the 2nd floor chapel.
- The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
- The Anime Club will meet today during lunch in Room 116 to watch Dandadan.
- The varsity wrestling team will compete in the Trygg/Sara Invitational tonight and on Saturday at Rummel.
- The tennis team will scrimmage Catholic on Saturday morning at City Park starting at 9:00.
- The varsity soccer team will play at St. Paul’s on Saturday afternoon starting at 2:00. The jv game begins at 12:30, while the 9th grade game starts at 11:00.
- The 8th grade soccer team will host Newman this evening at John Ryan Stadium starting at 5:30.
- November printing fees have been sent to students’ Outlook accounts. To avoid losing computer services and receiving a PH, students may pay their fees in Room 215 either before school, at the ten-minute break, or during the lunch hour before the end of the lunch period today.
- Monday we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Students are to come to school wearing a dress coat, dress shirt, tie, slacks, belt, dress shoes, and socks. You may wear a suit if you wish. You must wear your coat and tie for homeroom and Mass. During class you may take off your coat, but you must wear your tie properly and have your shirt tucked in all day. We will meet in homeroom on Monday.
Results:
- On Tuesday, the varsity basketball team defeated Hahnville 57-40 to improve its record to 7-0. The team was led by the defensive play of Zach LaGraize, holding the opponent’s leading scorer scoreless in the second half. Offensively, Brewer Nitcher poured in a season high of 22 points while Zach scored 10 points. Ethan Lapeze dominated the boards with 11 rebounds.
- The JV basketball team defeated Hahnville 59-31. The team was led by the scoring of Freshman Jacolby Treaudo with 14 points, while sophomores Luke Wetmore and Duke Nitcher each scored 13.
- The Freshman team defeated Hahnville by a score of 55-40. The team was led by the scoring of Race Hughes with 20 and McKinley Perry with 11.
