The Student Council Executive Board at Jesuit orchestrated a series of festive events to usher in the Christmas spirit and provide a delightful break ahead of the rigors of exam week. Transforming the Student Commons into a holiday wonderland, the area was adorned with Christmas trees, a cheerful stuffed snowman, and poles wrapped in festive Christmas paper.

Among the engaging activities, students enjoyed the challenge of unwrapping packages while wearing oven mitts—a task that quickly became a fan favorite. Senior Will Allen, dressed as the Grinch, added a playful twist by humorously “stealing” napkin holders and book bags across campus during lunch. Meanwhile, senior Wilson Frischhertz spearheaded gingerbread house-building competitions and karaoke sessions, bringing creative flair and musical cheer to the festivities.

Senior Wyatt Mire facilitated interactions with Santa, allowing students to sit on Santa’s lap and share their Christmas wishes. Junior Spencer Waguespack and senior Kasey Cognevich kept students entertained with a guessing game involving green and red M&M’s, adding an element of friendly competition. Senior Aiden Wang and junior class president Drew Causey contributed by distributing candy canes and cookies during lunch, spreading holiday cheer.
