Freshman Cardell Ross was invited to perform alongside Tonya Boyd-Cannon and some of her vocal workshop students at the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration Gamechangers Gala. This event supports ALS research in collaboration with Team Gleason, the NFL, and the New Orleans Saints.

Ross participates in vocal workshops, annual recitals, and has performed with Boyd-Cannon for the 2024 Juneteenth Celebration at Congo Square. Among the four students selected for the Gamechangers Choir, Ross performed with several members of the adult ensemble and alongside musicians such as the Isley Brothers and Trombone Shorty.

At Jesuit, Ross is involved in the choir and the Spanish Club. Additionally, he serves as an altar server at his home parish, St. Peter Claver.
