Regular Order, Day 5

  • Join the Society of St. Joseph in praying the rosary today during the first half of lunch in the second floor chapel.
  • All 8th and 9th grade students participating in the Mu Alpha Theta State Convention will practice today through Thursday during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
  • Students who received an email regarding required academic support attendance should report today after school to Room 324.
  • The bowling team will face Holy Cross this afternoon at Bowlero starting at 3:20.
  • The 9th grade baseball team will face Belle Chasse this evening at Belle Chasse starting at 5:30.
  • Both the varsity soccer and wrestling teams are reminded to report to the Carrollton Ave. steps on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 for Hall of Champions’ team photo.
  • An admissions representative from SUNY Maritime will be available during lunch today in the College Counseling Suite. 

Results:

  • On Friday, the varsity baseball team defeated Nolan Catholic from Fort Worth 13-6.  Calvin Magee and Zack Friloux combined for eight strikeouts.  Griffin Jeandron and Michael Brothers each had two hits.  Brothers hit a homerun.  
  • On Saturday, the varsity baseball team beat St. Thomas Aquinas 5-0.  Connor Donnelly pitched a complete game shutout.  
  • The Jesuit Lacrosse team won both games in their double header weekend. Friday night, the Jays defeated St. Thomas More 10-5. The offense was led by Senior Wilson Frischhertz with 4 goals and 2 assists. Cole Couvillon, Alex Barnett, Zac Raymond, Max Sutherlin, Cam Devine, and Colt Carter added to the score with a goal each. Saturday night, the Jays defeated Catholic High 7-5. Senior Henry Aucoin lead the defensive effort with 22 saves. Brighton Penedo, Tavo Rivera, and Brady Autin played intense defense to keep the Bears to just 5 Goals. The offense was lead by Zac Raymond with 3 goals. Wilson Frischhertz, Alex Barnett, Cole Couvillon and Coleman Edwards also added to the score with goals of their own.
